*Bylaws Note: there was an amendment that was voted on and passed by the membership March of 2024. This amendment reads as follows:
For the continuity of the Corporation, the President and Vice President will be assigned to two-year, staggered terms. Initially, the President term will expire at the 2025 Annual Meeting and the Vice President term will expire at the 2026 Annual Meeting. At the 2025 Annual Meeting the Presidency becomes a 2-year term.
To establish staggered terms, for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, the election for President will be a 1-year term and the Vice President will be a 2-year term. For the 2024-2025 fiscal year, if no one else is interested in running for the 1-year Presidency term, the current President term extends to 2-years and the current President continues until the 2025 Annual Meeting elections.
As a neighborhood organization we meet regularly to share information with neighbors and invited guests. The following meeting etiquette guidelines will provide a welcoming environment:
Be civil/respectful: Show civility and respect for all those in attendance
Be a good listener: Listen for understanding, give attention to speakers, and refrain from individual conversations while others are speaking
Be a good participant: Ask questions/give feedback in a polite, respectful manner.
